Buffaloes head to Las Vegas, Nevada this weekend for the NBA Cup on NBA TV
BEL AIRE, KS - The Buffaloes will be one of six high school programs participating in the Nike NBA Cup in Las Vegas while the Emirates NBA Cup semi-finals and finals take place this coming weekend. Games for the EYBL Scholastic will be held on Friday and Sunday while the NBA Cup's semis will take place during the day on Saturday. On Monday, the Buffaloes will play Long Island Lutheran in line with the Tarkanian Classic at Bishop Gorman H.S.
Both AZ Compass Prep and Long Island Lutheran are ranked within the Top 20 according to the most recent ESPN National High School Rankings.
In preparing for the trip, head coach Kyle Lindsted added, "It will be a great test for us to start league play on a stage like the NBA Cup. I am excited for our guys to be able to take that stage as a group and begin to show what we're capable of when we work to come together against some of the best programs in the country."
