Avery Moses ('27) Announces Commitment to SCA
BEL AIRE, KANSAS ---
Sunrise Christian Academy welcomes a versatile playmaker in the Class of 2027, as Fort Worth native Avery Moses puts pen to paper on his commitment. Standing 6'5", Moses brings length and athleticism to the backcourt—an ideal blend for a program that values both skill and hustle. His decision follows a standout run with Southern Assault on the adidas 3SSB Circuit, where he proved himself against some of the country's top talent.
Moses has built a reputation as a true three-level scorer, attacking the rim with authority and knocking down mid-range jumpers. What sets him apart, though, is his defensive prowess. "A tenacious competitor who thrives on energy and effort," notes PrepHoops, and that energy shows every time he takes the floor. Whether it's full-court pressure or navigating screens, his anticipation and quick hands make him a nightmare for opposing guards.
While he continues to sharpen his shooting consistency, Moses's physical tools and relentless mindset are undeniable. Coaches and teammates alike praise his work ethic—he's the kind of kid who arrives early, stays late, and never shies away from the toughest assignments. That blue-collar approach aligns perfectly with Sunrise Christian's culture of hard work and team-first mentality.
As Moses transitions to Kansas, the program gains a dynamic guard who can impact both ends of the court. With his blend of slashing ability, defensive intensity, and unshakeable drive, Avery Moses is poised to make an immediate impact—and help Sunrise Christian contend at the highest level.
